Read On: National Read a Book Day

Books have the power to transport us into new worlds and take us on incomparable escapades!

On September 6th, we encourage you to cozy up with your favorite storybook for National Read a Book Day! If you're looking for something new to add to your library, have a look at some of our current favorites to read with your kiddos!

Have adventures with Bigfoot, Narwhal, Slumber Sloth and more with the book collection from Slumberkins. Each Slumberkins book addresses various topics regarding emotional learning from conflict resolution to grief and loss. Pair these unique reads with a Slumberkins Snuggler for an extra cozy day with your little one!

This modern classic picture book is filled will gorgeous illustrations. The sweet story follows a child and grandfather in their walk around the neighborhood and encourages readers to find treasure in the mundane.

If you've never perused The Book With No Pictures, then you're in for a treat. This is one of my daughter's favorite books. It may not have any pictures, but it certainly does not lack personality! It is delightful for all ages.

Don't forget about your littlest babes! In our house, we are big fans of the Indestructibles books. They live up to their name! Baby can chew, scrunch, and drool all over them. If they get dirty, just toss them into the dishwasher or washing machine! They are created with a non-toxic, paper-like material that can withstand anything your baby puts it through.

Be sure to check out our entire selection of books in store or online at BabyCubby.com for National Read a Book Day!
